2017 CMTA IMPACT CONVENTION (GLASS)call-for-presentations

Are you interested in presenting a workshop at the 2017 CMTA IMPACT Convention? Please visit our website at www.cmtaconvention.org and click the “Presenter Information” button in the right margin to complete and submit your workshop proposal.

Submission deadline: November 1, 2016
Notification date: No later than December 19, 2016
Convention date: March 31 – April 1, 2017 Pasadena Convention Center

Workshop Selection Criteria. All workshops must align with the mission and vision of CMTA. Workshops are 75 minutes in length and proposals should relate to one of the following tracks/ministries:

• Adult Ministry
• Leadership
• Early Childhood
• Spiritual Care/Special Needs
• Elementary
• Technology for Ministry
• Evangelism Outreach
• Women’s Ministry
• Family
• Youth Ministry

Content of workshops will be reviewed according to the following criteria:

• Clarity of the workshop’s objective and desired outcome
• Alignment with the CMTA mission and vision statements
• The degree of participant engagement (skill-building activities, group discussions, question and answer opportunity, etc.)
• Ability to present workshop within the allotted time and resources
• Balance and diversity of all workshops to be offered

The Story of CMTA:  CMTA founded in 1951 as the Greater Los Angeles Sunday School Association (GLASS) with the first convention held in 1952 (mostly by folks at Lake Avenue Church and Hollywood Press). It is a voluntary association of individuals, Sunday Schools, churches and other organizations from various denominations who cooperate in training Christians for service in their local church.
